Today we updated the site stylesheets for Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 7 on Windows XP. Expect some further tweaks over the coming week. If you're running Firefox 2.0, you shouldn't notice any changes from the previous version.
We're making planning events a little bit easier by allowing your members to RSVP to events.. In addition to providing group leaders with a count of expected attendees, all those who responded will automatically receive a reminder email the day before!
This feature is very basic at the moment, but we hope to expand it and clean it up soon.
Yes, we've been away for a while, but there are some new (minor) updates this weekend:
MaizeWeb will be unavailable for a short time between 12:01 and 4:00am on April 21, 2006 while scheduled maintenance is performed on our server. One of our backup drives is failing and needs to be replaced.
UPDATE: This has been completed successfully.

Two new items for this evening:
Welcome back from break! We would have more featrures ready for you, but we can't remember what we were working on before we left... Anyway, we do have a couple of small items for tonight.
First, we have a small session change which moves some more of your session information into cookies. A few weeks ago we made a server side change that probably left you logged out after a couple of hours of inactivity. That's fixed now.
Second, we've fixed up the Add or Remove Content page a little bit. It's now a little more intuitive to figure out what to do, though you'll be seeing big changes in that area in the future.
Lastly, until now organization short names were restricted to alpha characters only. Now you can use alphas, numbers, and underscore. Yes, we know, exciting...

We made some little changes to the Blog and Links sections. They're a little nicer now. Big change for blogs is the Permalink feature, so you can email out links to your favorite MW Blog posts (like this awesome one, for example).
Oh, also a few changes to the organization creation process and a better message when you have no content on your site.
Sorry for no update in a while, we've been busy :(

Yeah, the old one sucked...this one is better. Eventually you'll get more custom content on your homepage when you're logged in, but this is a start on our continuing crusade for better usability.
We launched several new features tonight. Read about 'em here: http://www.maizeweb.com/about/whatsnew.xhtml.
